Klavže 28 is special. At the end of a winding gravel road you come upon a restored farmhouses nestled in 9 hectares of meadow, forest, and rivers. Cozy rooms with views of the Julian Alps, perfect for peaceful sleep after a day outside exploring. 

Klavže 28 is the perfect homebase for spring, summer, and fall activities. The Soča Valley is known for outdoor activities like white-water rafting, paragliding, mountain biking, or hikes and river swims. WWI and WWII history is all around us, with historical sites within walking distance. 40 minute’s drive away, the Goriska Brda wine region is full of incredible Slovene and Italian vitners.

And if you’re looking to simply relax on the property, there are river swimming spots 5 minute’s walk from your room, as well as outdoor lounges for curling up with a book. An early morning cold plunge in the Baca river is a favorite guest tradition. Grill with your family and dine outside under the covered patio and have a glass of local biodynamic wine from our cellar. 

Klavže 28 shifts with the seasons. Trout fishing is big during spring and fall. In the spring awake to the sounds of birds and the stream. Summer brings wildflowers, fireflies, and picnics. Fall’s crisp air is perfect for mountain hikes and wine tasting.
